You may use the controller profile in this repository, the left thumbstick is mapped as the WiiMote's nunchunck thumbstick. Within Dolphin you go to alternative input devices and setup the DSU client to listen to the server running on your computer with port 26760 (you can find your ip address by running something like ifconfig in a Terminal). This app is made to be used with the Dolphin emulator. Thus in principle other types of controllers may work as well, but need to be compatible with MacOS already and only DS4 controllers have been tested with this application. Since simple button mapping works straight away with Dolphin.Īlthough made for DS4 controllers, it is implemented using existing libraries in MacOS. If you aren't interested in using the accelerometer and gyro of DS4 controler(s) then this application is not needed, This application is designed to also have motion data available from DS4 controllers in the Dolphin emulator on MacOS.

You need to dump a game's textures and activate custom textures, to do so simply open Dolphin, click graphics->advanced, and check both 'Dump Textures' & 'Load Custom Textures'. Then you need to play the game with the settings on to dump textures, play through as much of the game as you want to have affected by the program. If you don't specify a directory, the program will randomize using the contents from the texture dump(all screenshots except the bottom one used this). You can specify a directory to load from(bottom screenshot shows a folder with google image search results for 'Waluigi').
